Celebrating Connections: VIP Meetings and Special Guests in April 2024

Welcoming Distinguished Guests

We had the pleasure of hosting distinguished guests at our morning VIP meetings. The Ambassador of the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Jennifer Garcia, and her associates joined us. Their presence was a great honor.

Insights on Senior Scams

On April 23rd, we welcomed Michelle Lee and Andrea Ortega from Wescom. They shared valuable insights on scams affecting seniors. Their presentation was informative and timely. The attendees learned practical tips to protect themselves and their loved ones.

The presentation covered common scams and how to recognize them. Michelle and Andrea also provided resources for reporting suspicious activities. Their visit was a crucial step in our ongoing efforts to support our senior community.

Earlier this year I was overseas in Indonesia filming a short documentary for a Non-Profit, called Access Life International. On our way in to the mountains of Bali to meet a village leader, I saw this forest of beautiful bright green trees. I had never seen anything like it before. My jaw dropped as we passed by. I asked my friend (and host), David, if we could stop so I could take a picture even though it wasn’t related to the project. Needless to say, I got the shot and now cherish the memories my team and I created on our brief stop.

Past & Present

By chance meeting, the daughter and granddaughter of the 1st President of the VIP Seniors Club, Mr. Howard McMahon (1979) attended our St. Patrick's Day celebration party.  Their presence reminded us of our rich history and the legacy of our founders.

It was a moment of reflection and pride for everyone involved. The stories they shared about Mr. McMahon's dedication and vision were truly inspiring.

We look forward to welcoming more distinguished guests and sharing their insights with our members. Together, we can create a supportive and informed community.
